Four guys who all played in bands during the 60s and 70s as teenagers formed this band in 2001 to relive the good old days and the excitement of playing live music. They all reside on Sydney's wonderful northern beaches and regard themselves as the peninsula's own band with a growing reputation for good rock and roll dance music. Their repertoire consists of over 60 songs, mainly from the 60s and 70s, which have proven popular with people who love to dance. Beatles, Stones, The Shadows, Hollies, Van Morrison, Fastball, Chuck Berry, Roy Orbison are some of the artist songs performed. This variety is enhanced by evenly sharing the singing amongst three or them and even the drummer sings one song. Tight harmonies are featured in many songs. Graham (drummer) and Glenn (bass) are both dinky die Australians. Graham grew up in Rockhampton and Glenn grew up in Perth (WA) (ed.- not sure that either has grown up yet). Bill (guitar) and Dave (guitar) are both from pommy land. Bill grew up in Liverpool and after a few years in South Africa settled in Sydney in 1979. Dave grew up in London and settled here in 1973. Both have been naturalised.

This good time rocking band has been around for some twenty years, belting out plenty of rock'n roll and blues tunes. Their musical influences are driven by the blues, but more than half their repertoire is good old-fashioned get-up-and-dance rock and roll music. Their music covers a huge range with songs from Beatles, Stones, Stray Cats, Chuck Berry, Eric Clapton & Cream, B.B.King, The Doobie Brothers and plenty of others. The traditional lineup of two guitars, bass guitar and drums is complemented by soulful harmonica and some wild slide guitar. Every gig they play at has people young and old up on the dance floor and rocking.
Colin and Dave are a pair of likely lads from "South London", while Regan hails from the sunny shores of Canada. Greg is our token dinki-di AUSSIE.

| This band has been together for a short time and has put together more than fifty songs/instrumentals and played a few gigs. The band, being a trio, is not loud and produces some quality sounds and harmonies.
Waylanis the bass player / vocals in the band. He has been playing bass for a number of years now and has taken singing more seriously in recent times. He has played in clubs, hotels and functions in NSW. He's singing is unique in the bluesy & country style, which blends in well with the other two members of the band. He is not happy until he's singing and playing has reached a high standard and works well with the band and audience. | |
Moose(Phil) is the Drummer / Vocals in the band. He has been playing drums and singing for more than 30 years (Ed: nearer 50 years but won't admit it). He has played in clubs, hotels, functions, cruises and backed many artists in clubs throughout NSW. He sings Country, Ballads, Rock & Roll and harmonises songs with Waylan and Smith (the Professor). He also does most of the consulting and bookings with clubs/hotels management & entertainment agents/managers etc. Smith(The Professor) is the Guitarist / Vocalist in the band. He has been playing guitar and singing for a lot of years in different bands through the years of his involvement in the music business. His vocals are a blend of Ballads, Standards, middle of the road songs, some fine instrumentals and has a knack of picking up harmony lines. He has played in various clubs / functions and can get some amazing sounds from the smallest of AMPs. |
